Excellent RV park, nice level roomy spaces with lots of green grass. Just a few minutes to the Hyder bear viewing platform. The owners are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They go out of their way to make your stay the best possible, and memorable. I highly recommend the Bear River RV Park to anyone staying in the Stewart/Hyder area.

This place is amazing! We left the state of Washington three weeks ago and are headed to Alaska. We have a self contained truck camper and have been off grid most of the time at BC Rec Sites. But it was time for laundry, dump rubbish and take a proper shower. It’s so sparkly clean! And the staff and owners were so nice and helpful!!! We’ve done this for years and this place takes the cake! Thanks Natalie, Jerika, and Cory for our stay. We fell in love with Stewart BC!

Absolutely a must stop if you're traveling in a RV to Stewart or Hyder. Don't waste your time comparing other parks, trust me you won't regret it. New sewer, water and 30 amp electrical lines, gravel LEVEL lots Now that's a bonus in my book. Hot showers, laundry facility. But wait there's more best of all the genuine hospitality of the current owners and entire staff. A stay I will never forget. I'm from the lower 48 (Virgina) and I felt like I was home. 5 star's and beyond...

If you're going up the Cassiar Highway to Alaska, then you need to take a smal detour to Stewart. This is right off 37A just outside town, but it is in a great location, easy in and out (we were in a 38ft Class A with a tow), facilities were clean, spaces gravel, water, sewer, and 30amp. The staff is excellent and when 4 of us came rolling in, she even came down to make sure everything was okay. Stewart is just down the road, a picturesque little town with a cute grocery store, restaurants and bay to the ocean. If you go just a bit further down the road, you cross the border into Alaska and the "friendly ghost town" of Hyder. Here, during the right time you can hit the bear observation deck to wath the bears fish for salmon. BUT REMEMBER YOU MUST CROSS BACK INTO CANADA!! The young man manning that post was awesome! This is a great place to stay in a most scenic location, don't miss it!
